Description

Beram DF (Direct Fire) is a single component joint and crack sealant specifically designed for use with Direct Fired, single walled melters. Beram DF is manufactured using select engineered asphalt cements, polymers, select oil resins and UV inhibitors. Beram DF will not flow from the joint or be picked up by vehicle tires, foot traffic, skateboards or roller blade wheels in high surface temperatures.

RECOMMENDED USE

Beram DF was designed for the routine maintenance of asphalt concrete pavements or Portland Cement Concrete on driveways, parking lots, bicycle paths and walkways.

MELTING EQUIPMENT

Beram DF was designed to be melted in direct fire melters equipped with either a hand operated or mechanically operated agitator. The kettle should have a thermometer for the melting vat.

COVERAGE

Beram DF weighs approximately 9.5 lbs./gal (1.14 kg/L). A joint X (12.7 mm X 12.7 mm) requires approximately 12 lbs. Per 100 lineal feet or 17.7 kgs per 100 lineal meters.
